Carlos Vides, president of the Board of Directors of the Extra -Passenger Passenger Transport Transportation, in an interview with The network This Thursday, April 10, he referred to the alleged suspension of the service during the major week if the Deputies do not lower the salary.
In that sense, Vides explained that they have made consultations and talked with different actors, among these, with the Congress Transportation Commission.
“We have really been seeing the way of not affecting as much as possible to users, especially in Holy Week,” he said.
He added that he has heard many opinions and “that it would not be fair to harm those who should not, that they are the users.”
He affirmed that they continue in the same position, in a waiting compass, because, after Holy Week, they will seek approaches with Congress authorities to insist “that they are doing great damage to society, we are getting polarized more and more. The only change at this time is to endure Holy Week.”
Regarding the Q3 thousand bonus for Congress employees, Vides said they see it as an escape valve so that deputies do not have internal problems.
“It is more worrying to see that, without getting to work, they continue to accrue salary. Next week they turn three weeks of not attending,” he said.
Vides said that many people supported unemployment during Holy Week, although in the end the most important thing is not to damage the population.
He said they requested a meeting with the president of Congress, Nery Ramos, to address the issue of salary increase.
He added that there is possibility that they meet again to continue the dialogue.

He indicated that, if the deputies do not lower their salary, this will cause a serious problem.
