The Venezuelan rapper Marlon Morales, better known as Lil Supa, performed this Friday before more than a thousand people at the Parque de la Industria, in what was his third concert in Guatemala.
The artist presented his most recent work, “Animal”, released in December of last year, before the Guatemalan public.
National artists Fat Flava and DJ Spinips were in charge of opening the event, which began at 7 p.m.
DJ Spinips commented that the musical selection he presented was curated by Supa:
“They have been curating everything they want for the tour and part of the process, let’s say, for them to select me was to share a little bit among my collection or more or less what they wanted, they gave me a couple of names back (…) we are a little jealous, so we don’t go too far but with playing a few notes they already validated more or less where they wanted to take the line and then I already did my homework,” he said.
After the initial presentations, at 9 p.m., Lil Supa began his concert, in which he performed recent hits such as “Poder” and “Instinto”, as well as classics from his discography, including “Luz” and “Mista Untaike”.
Regarding “Animal”, the new album that Supa presented, DJ Spinips acknowledged that “it is excellent” and said that he liked how his sound has evolved and that it does not lose the essence of the artist. He added that, although it may not be an album for everyone, it does offer proposals for different tastes.
With this third presentation in Guatemala, Lil Supa continues a world tour that has covered countries in Europe and Latin America.
