Four people were captured by the National Civil Police (PNC) in the Santiago neighborhood, Chiquimulilla, Santa Rosa, accused of allegedly being part of a structure dedicated to scamming ATM users.

The arrests were made after a complaint from a citizen who claimed to have been a victim of robbery and who identified the suspects.

According to the PNC, the detainees are Luis “N”, 45 years old; Aníbal “N”, 42; José “N”, 36; and María “N”, 48. According to the preliminary investigation, the four monitored people who made withdrawals at an ATM in the sector and later committed the robberies.

According to the police, the alleged criminals could be part of a structure dedicated to theft by exchanging or manipulating bank cards. Likewise, there are previous complaints against him for similar events.

The PNC reported that, upon verifying the background of those captured, it was established that Luis “N” has a record of material falsification, falsification of vehicle license plates and badges, and personal concealment. Aníbal “N” has a history of falsification of private documents and personal fraud.

In addition, José “N” has a record of theft and a special case of fraud, while María “N” has a record of theft and material falsification, in different years.
