On June 21, the Volunteer Firefighters suspended the second day of searching for Edy Estuardo Adonis Cordero, 35, who disappeared after the vehicle in which he was driving fell into the Laguna de Ayarza, in Santa Rosa.

The Special Aquatic Rescue and Rescue Brigade Frog Men carried out searches in different sectors of the lagoon during the day, it was reported.

According to the lifeguards, the work focused on the area where on Friday, June 19, the car was reported to have fallen from a cliff of approximately 220 meters into the waters of the lagoon.

Rescuers indicated that weather conditions complicated operations and that a storm forced the search to be suspended for the safety of personnel.

As of the close of the day, firefighters had still not located Adonis.

What did the firefighters find on the first day of searching?

On Saturday, June 20, the Frog Men They located the vehicle that fell into the lagoon about 45 feet deep. However, during inspections around the car, the driver was not found.

According to the Volunteer Firefighters, during the first day of operations the divers made more than 20 dives and reached depths of up to 90 feet at different points in the body of water.
