Mexico defeated the Czech Republic 3-0 at the Mexico City Stadium and closed the group stage with a perfect pace. The team led by Javier Aguirre added nine points out of a possible nine and secured first place in Group A, consolidating itself as one of the most solid teams at the start of the 2026 World Cup.
