“First the persecution will come to the church in the town of Venezuela to test its faithfulness in me. Then two earthquakes will arrive that will affect the country in a tragic way”.

The position of the Catholic Church
consulted by Free pressthe priest Manuel Abac He explained that the Church does not consider the video to be a prophecy.
“The Church sees it as a coincidence, that he has managed to coincide with what he said and it exactly happened; but, I repeat, he is not the only one. There are those who have made another series of prophecies and they are not fulfilled”he expressed.

Abac recalled that earthquakes have occurred throughout history and have a scientific explanation.
“There have always been. One goes to the Holy Scripture and that is where they get these prophecies. There will be earthquakes, there will be catastrophes, but that has always happened. Geologists explain these situations to us”he pointed out.
“No one knows the day or the hour”
The priest also explained that this type of coincidence should not generate fear among the population or be interpreted as announcements about the end of the world.
“We are in certainty and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, who said in the Bible: ‘No one knows the day or the hour’. That is biblical. No one can prophesy when the end of the world will be.”he stated.
Likewise, he called to maintain hope and show solidarity with the victims.

“The invitation is to faith, obviously to reach out to our Venezuelan brothers, to be sensitive, but not stay with these fears, because God does not come to scare us; Jesus came to give us hope, salvation and serenity to our souls”he concluded.
While the video continues circulating on social networks, Venezuelan authorities continue rescue efforts. The president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodriguezreported that he met with experts from USA to evaluate care and assistance operations for earthquake victims.
