The Insivumeh has recorded three tremors that have exceeded magnitude 4 this Tuesday, July 21.
The first tremor occurred at 0:43 a.m., with magnitude 4.9, epicenter in the Pacific Ocean and a depth of 8.30 kilometers.
The second earthquake occurred at 3:09 a.m., with the epicenter at the same point and magnitude 4.4. This time, the depth of the earthquake was 15.58 kilometers.
At 3:43 a.m., Insivumeh detected another tremor, also in the Pacific Ocean, with magnitude 4.1 and a depth of 8.83 kilometers.
In the last 24 hours, Insivumeh has detected 172 earthquakes, of which two have been sensitive.
The reported sequence of tremors occurs after the strong earthquake that shook Guatemala at 8:48 a.m. on Friday, July 17.
On that occasion, the epicenter was also located in the Pacific Ocean, off the coast of Chiapas, Mexico.
On Monday, July 20, Insivumeh also reported an earthquake with an epicenter in the department of Guatemala.
