The Municipal Transit Police (PMT) warns about a blockade this Tuesday, July 21, on Atanasio Tzul Road and 42 Street, Zone 12. It also reports a demonstration on Petapa Avenue.
Amílcar Montejo, PMT road spokesperson, indicated that taxi drivers are blocking the passage with a bus and other vehicles to stop traffic in both directions of the road.
According to the protesters, the protest is due to the rise in fuel prices.
The protesters assure that they will free up one lane every hour in that sector.
The demonstration affects entry and exit from the capital.
In addition, another group of protesters blocks the passage on 42nd Street and Petapa Avenue.
This traffic complication It is added to that recorded in the morning at kilometer 15 of the Inter-American route, on the Roosevelt road, where a group of taxi drivers blocked the passage in rejection of the increase in fuel prices.
