Guatemalan striker Arquímides Ordóñez already has a new team. One day after ending his relationship with FC Loudoun United, the national attacker was announced as a new player for FC Tulsa, a club that competes in the USL Championship in the United States.
The club confirmed the incorporation of the footballer through its official channels and highlighted that he arrives to reinforce the offense during the second part of the 2026 season. In addition, it reported that the player may be called up for the July 25 match against Lexington SC, once the corresponding administrative procedures are completed.
The incorporation of Ordóñez generates expectations in the Oklahoma team due to the experience accumulated in American soccer and abroad. With 22 years old, the forward has gone through different stages of training and professional competition, which makes him one of the Guatemalan attackers with the greatest international projection.
“Quimi” played for FC Loudoun United, where he stood out for his ability to generate danger in attack, the intensity of the pressure and the versatility to play as a center forward or on the sides. During his time at the club he put in outstanding performances and demonstrated the ability to make a difference even when coming off the bench.
He previously joined the structure of FC Cincinnati, of Major League Soccer, where he continued his professional development. He also excelled with FC Cincinnati 2.
His career also allowed him to gain experience in Europe during his loans to clubs in Sweden and Moldova, stages that strengthened his football and personal growth. This international experience has allowed him to mature and face this new challenge with greater resources to compete at the highest level.
