Rapper Sean Combs, known as Diddy, was moved to solitary confinement at a federal prison in New Jersey, where he is serving a sentence on prostitution-related charges, after getting into a fight with another inmate.
According to ABC channel 7, which cites a source familiar with the matter, the popular artist had a fight with another prisoner over a comment he made to him.
It is unknown how long this punishment was imposed on the singer and successful businessman, who faced trial last year in the federal court for the Southern District of New York after being accused of carrying out “elaborate sexual performances.”
These shows were known as ‘freak offs’, in which various women were allegedly forced to have relationships with male sex workers, often under the influence of drugs.
The jury exonerated him of the most serious crimes, organized crime – which would have cost him a life sentence – and sex trafficking.
However, the jury found him guilty of two counts of transportation for prostitution.
Combs, who has been serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Facility (FCI) in Fort Dix, New Jersey, since October of last year, has appealed his sentence of four years and two months.
