Free press, in alliance with Guatemala No Se Detiene, presents a new report based on social listening in digital media, this time following up on the conversation about artificial intelligence in Guatemala, focused on concepts such as AI tools, learning, employability, adoption barriers, pains, motivations, emotions,
generations, opportunities and emerging trends.
One of the main findings is that Guatemalans perceive AI as a tool that arouses interest in understanding, exploring and mastering; in addition to offering benefits such as saving time and increasing productivity. The main report details the conclusions.
The study analyzes only public conversations available in monitored digital sources. The results represent trends observed in the conversation
digital and do not constitute a representative survey of the Guatemalan population.
The monitoring was carried out using social listening technologies, from the tracking of keywords, phrases and associated synonyms, using the Goo tool to monitor social stream (social networks and digital platforms) and mainstream (digital media and information sites).
The analysis period spanned from January 2025 to June 2026, during which a total of 137 thousand publications were analyzed, with 214.98M potential impacts.
