With an orchestra made up of 25 musicians, two Guatemalan singers will pay tribute to two Colombian stars: Shakira and Karol Gin a special concert that will come to the stage of the Lux Theater.
“We had already done individual concerts with only Shakira and only Karol G, but on this occasion we decided to do a tribute to both artists because, in addition to the fact that they are both Colombian, they have a lot of weight in popular music and the public will surely like it,” explains Kevinne Urías, musical director of the Filarmonía Orchestra.
Shakira’s voice will be performed by Elvi Sagastume, while Karol G’s will be performed by Hellen Loarca. Both will be accompanied by the Filarmonía Orchestra, which since its founding in 2020 has been dedicated to promoting thematic concerts in different stages of the country.
“The sound format of this concert is completely different, because one can go to listen to an artist who sings with a track, but in this case We have an orchestra of 25 live musicians, with that strength, energy and rhythm that will make you live a unique experience”says the director.
The symphonic tribute to Shakira and Karol G will be on Sunday, August 2, at 4 p.m., at the Lux Theater6th avenue 11-02, zone 1 of Guatemala City. The doors will open at 3 p.m.

The Filarmonía Orchestra is a musical institution and artistic platform dedicated to the creation and production of orchestral shows. It specializes in thematic concerts in symphonic, urban, academic and popular music formats.
He has performed tribute concerts to Backstreet Boys, Shakira, Karol G, Ricardo Arjona, Raphael and other notable artists. In addition, he has accompanied performances by the National Folkloric Ballet and concerts by the National Choir of Guatemala.
