The Public Ministry (MP) reported that this Thursday, February 27, the Special Prosecutor’s Office against Impunity coordinated the apprehension of a person by unregistered electoral financing.
He added that he coordinated with the National Civil Police the apprehension of Salvador “N” for the crime already mentioned.
According to the MP, this is in monitoring the investigations of the corruption case seed.
The diligence of search, inspection, registration and kidnapping of evidence was in a property in the Chajche, Totonicapán site.
The arrest warrant was issued by the Seventh Pluripersonal Court of Criminal First Instance, Narcoactivity and Crimes against the Environment of Guatemala, the investigating entity added.
Salvador “N” was Secretary of Finance of the Semilla Movement.
He recalled the MP that in this case has been issued six convictions against the same number of people who have accepted their responsibility in the commission of the illegal acts and two more are linked to the process.
