Founded on May 11, 1925, the Rotary Club of Guatemala, received its constituent letter from Rotary International; thus formally integrating into the world network of rotary clubs dedicated to community service, the promotion of peace, health, education and social development.

“Rotary is a lighthouse that illuminates the horizon, in a changing world, erratic and sometimes conflictive, in an outline of great technological advances, and of great opportunities, where people and institutions are what make the difference. If each of the approximately 18 million inhabitants of the country, we would make a positive action every day, Guatemala would be a different country, and that is part of our philosophy, to think that our values are not negotiable, but they are not negotiable. Intrinsically what we are, we all work to make our dreams, ”said Juan Niemann, president of the Guatemala Rotary Club.
