A live broadcast on social networks shows Jimena Jerónimo Argueta, 12, at a party in the El Zapote sector, San Sebastián, Retalhuleu, hours before being located without life. The video will be a key piece in the investigations that the authorities maintain under reservation.

The case of the death of Jimena Jerónimo Argueta, 12, whose body was located last Saturday, April 19 on a dirt road in the Buenaventura Lotification, San Sebastián, Retalhuleu, took an unexpected turn, because in videos published on social networks, he is observed in the company of other girls in the El Zapote sector, Aldea San Luis, of the same municipality.
Although the children of the child indicated that he had left their home at 9.30 pm to buy a telephone recharge, the live broadcast of a local page reveals that Jimena was at a party.
Live broadcast lasts more than five hours. Jimena attended the activity and appears in the images for at least an hour and a half of the video.
It is also evident that in their environment there were adults drinking liquor, as well as young people and girls dancing.
Likewise, a man who carried a cap and an alcoholic beverage in his hand approaching her, while the girl danced with another minor is observed.
The authorities maintain the case under reservation and still investigate whether it was sexually attacked. This video will be key to the corresponding investigations.
After the dissemination of the videos about the activity carried out in the sector where Jimena resided on the day of his disappearance, the relatives manifested in social networks.
In a live broadcast, one of Jimena’s aunts explained the feeling of the family, accompanied by Naomy Argueta, Jimena’s mother.
Both highlighted being affected by the wave of comments that has caused a negative impact on the family, and pointed out that they only demand justice and that they are responsible.
