Kello’s Guatemalan Band was founded by his vocalist Maynor Figueroa, along with a group of friends during the university years.

Kello’s house is an independent and alternative band that seeks to offer a universal sound experience without limits that is linked to genres such as indie, folk, Rock and pop as a creative platform. In addition, its members indicated that the group believes in love and empathy towards others as a basis for building a creative, artistic and music world.
In 2015 the band was restructured with new members and in 2017 they launched Third World Warhis first EP. This production was followed by his second EP Remote In 2019 and 2024 they published Travelershis first album.
At present, Figueroa is accompanied by Fernando Sierra –Batía–, Víctor Valenzuela –bajo– and Antonio Monterroso –guitar. In addition, the group has gained space in local scenarios since its first record production.

His participation in the epicenter Showcase
Kello’s house continues with the execution of his independent rock and on Sunday, April 27, he will perform the best of his repertoire during the first edition of the Epicenter Showcase, an event that has the mission of giving voice to the new musical generations in Guatemala and the Central America region.
For Sierra, the epicenter Showcase is an opportunity that the independent and alternative artists will have to spread their music and present it during a festival in which friendship predominates.
“This is the festival we need. It is like a new letter of presentation, a new first -level concert format in Guatemala City and we will participate bands that we are doing well, that we have several years making the fight and that we have persisted and we have been persevering,” said the band drummer.
Sierra insisted that, In addition to sound quality, there is genuine support among artists who will participate in the festival.
“Kello’s house has been one of the groups that has worked with the staff in charge of Epicenter, even, before the record label became. There is also Tita, Easy Easy, that we are like that litter of musicians that we bet and trust for evolution. In fact, the festival invited Chofo de Easy Easy, then it became Musicians that make us be in the first edition of the epicenter Showcase, ”added Sierra.
In addition to Kello’s house, Easy Easy, Cynthia Fion, Tita, Franc Castillejos, Leena Bae, Fabulos and The Lilas will also participate in the event, and will allow her fans to listen to her successes and the proposal of novel projects.
“What pleases me about the festival is that we are going to participate musicians who have shown record, something that literally keeps us alive. There will also be space for sale of merchandise of the bands, many visuals, new music and an ideal atmosphere to enjoy a Sunday in the country,” he concluded.
