According to the Netflix help center, the application may not be available on some televisions and in certain devices manufactured before 2015.
According to local and international sources, the disposition especially affects brand models such as Sony, Samsung, LG and Panasonic.
This measure responds to Netflix considering that some devices have Memory limitations, processing capacity and lack of updates necessary for the optimal operation of the platform.
