The Prosecutor’s Office against the Crime of Femicide, in coordination with the Metropolitan Regional Prosecutor and with the accompaniment of the National Civil Police, carried out a drilling, inspection, registration and kidnapping of evidence in a property located in San Sebastián, Retalhuleu.
The Public Ministry reported that, as a result of this diligence, Franklin’s apprehension “N” was reported.
The detainee is a syndicated of the crime of femicide and indicated as responsible for the death of Jimena Jerónimo Argueta, 12, occurred on April 18, 2025.
The investigating body added that the work of the Prosecutor’s Office, together with the Specialized Division in Criminal Investigation and the Department of Digital Evidence Analysis of the PNC, allowed to collect various indications.
Among the indications, the location and extraction of video surveillance cameras material was included, the MP added.
“Through these, it was established that the union transferred the victim on a motorcycle to the place where he was found died due to a craniocerephalic trauma,” according to the MP.
