The procession of the Child God of Amatitlán travels on Saturday, May 3, the main streets of that municipality to commemorate the day of the Holy Cross. In addition, in the capital, the courtship of the Atocha child advances through the streets of the Historic Center.
In Amatitlán, dozens of people accompany the courtship, which toured the main roads of the town, mainly those close to the Fair field, on Real Street.
In its tour of the 2nd Avenue of the Barrio La Cruz, El Zarquito, as the image is known, was received with marimba tune that are named.
For the passage of processional courtship, Catholics make colored carpets and adorn the facades of business in honor of the child God of Amatitlán.
Hours later the aquatic procession of the child of Amatitlán was celebrated, in which dozens of faithful Catholics also participated.
In the capital, Catholics brought on the shoulders the image of the child of Atocha, of the Association of Children of the Santa Cruz, in Zone 1 of Guatemala City.
The procession toured the main streets of the city.
