A woman who intended to go out with a newborn – who is not her son – of the National Hospital of Tisquisate, Escuintla, It was captured, the National Civil Police (PNC) reported on Wednesday, May 7.
The entity added that the arrest was in response to an alert of medical personnel, which indicated that during the early morning they observed a woman in the halls of the hospital without any justification.
The PNC explained that, when the agents arrived in the emergency area of the hospital, they located the woman with a newborn in her arms.
The suspect was identified as Betzabé “N”, 25, according to the PNC.
Moments after the capture, a 40 -year -old woman said that the newborn was her son and was taken from her bed without her consent, the police report added.
The detainee was made available to the corresponding court to solve his legal situation, the PNC concluded.
