Interbanco was distinguished with the award for Business Health and Safety, an initiative of the Guatemalan Social Security Institute (IGSS) that recognizes companies that actively promote safe, innovative and healthy work environments.
The bank’s commitment and good practices towards the integral well -being of its collaborators, allowed it to participate as one of the three successful cases highlighted in the First Congress of the IGSS Business Clinics System, recently held.
Interbanco shared the good practices he performs in occupational health, through his business clinic located in Torre Internacional, being the number 100 of this model. This highlights the positive impact of bringing preventive and primary care services to the workplace, promoting a culture of care and well -being within the organization.

The award was received by the General Manager of Interbanco, Jorge Luis Cabrera, on behalf of the entire team that has made this vision possible, “we firmly believe that a healthy company is a sustainable company. This award is a reflection of the commitment we have with the well -being of each of our collaborators. We will continue working for safe, human and purpose and purpose work environments.”
These distinctions reaffirm the purpose of interbanding to promote environment development, demonstrating that investing in health is also to invest in the future of the country.
