The Mixco commune confirmed that there is a scheduled culmination date for the end of this week, for the next March 8, 2025.

The spokesman of the Municipality, Mynor Espinoza, informed that in this final phase the road signaling must be installed, including traffic signals to guide drivers.

In this final phase they must also ensure adequate lighting and carry out the final tests to guarantee the security and effectiveness of the overpass.

According to the projection, it is estimated that the overpass has a direct impact on the mobility of More than 250 thousand neighbors from Mixco in times of greater circulation in the area.

The first phase of the work, which is formed in the upper lanes in the part of the roundabout that comes out of the interconnection Orange Towards him El Naranjo Boulevardit was concluded in December 2024.

The work will facilitate circulation in several directions:

• From El Naranjo Boulevard to forests of San Nicolás and the Minervas sector.
• From forests of San Nicolás to the industrial area of ​​zone 4 (by the viaduct).
