For a few days on social networks a video has been viralized in which a woman is observed to throw lime with hot water in the eyes to a minor in Mazatenango. The mother of the affected indicates that the alleged aggressor fled the community, and fears that the authorities do not meet her whereabouts and the case is unpunished.

After viralizing a video in Mazatenango, in which it is observed how a woman throws hot water with lime to a minor already her mother, causing burns to the little woman’s eyes, the alleged aggressor fled the community, according to the parent of the affected.
The incident occurred on February 25 in the 3rd street of the Independencia neighborhood in Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez.
After the incident, the girl was sent to a health center, and this Monday, March 3, it was known that she was already discharged and is at home with her family; However, next week it will be known if the child will suffer temporary or permanent damage in her eyes, said the parent.
According to the mother’s complaint, the alleged aggressor was a neighbor of the place, and who on previous occasions has assaulted other children in the colony.
