Two Guatemalans and a Salvadoran who are claimed by the United States justice for drug trafficking cases were extradited by Guatemala towards that country.

Guatemala extradited on Tuesday, March 4 to the United States to two Guatemalans and a Salvadoran who is claimed by the justice of that country of drug trafficking, the prison system (SP) reported.

Sergio Vela, general director of the SP, confirmed the transfer operation of the three indicated by the United States Justice of Drug Trafficking.

“In the morning, the transfer operation of three deprived of liberty, two Guatemalans and one of Salvadoran nationality, required for extradition to the United States of America under the positions related to drug trafficking and organized crime, so they were delivered to the authorities of that country at the facilities of the Guatemalan Air Force,” said Vela.
