More than 40 cities in the United States, Mexico and Canada competed for being headquarters of the next World Cup, finally, the list remained in 16. Know all the stadiums that will house matches of the 2026 World Cup.

A little over a year ago that FIFA announced to the planet that the final of the World Cup that jointly organize the United States, Mexico and Canada in 2026 will be in the Metlife Stadium by East RutherfordThe New York Giants and the New York Jets of the NFL.

After that announcement, the FIFA also revealed the complete calendar and the different venues cities that will house the matches of the Tournament taking the Qatar 2022 post.

The 2026 World Cup will be the first in the entire history that will be played 48 selections, so the number of matches will be expanded up to a record of 104 in total.

United States with almost total prominence

Of the three countries that organize the 2026 World Cup the one with the greatest number of venues was the United States with 11 of the 16 total.

The American cities chosen to house matches of the 2026 World Cup are: Seattle, the Bay of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Kansas City, Dallas, Atlanta, Houston, Boston, Philadelphia, Miami and New York/New Jersey.

While Mexico, Guadalajara and Monterrey They will be the three Mexican venues; Vancouver and Toronto will be the Canadian cities.

The World Cup will celebrate the group stage between June 11 and 27 and the direct elimination phase will be from June 28, this will run until July 19, where the final will take place.
