They capture alleged responsible for the death of the mayor of Chuuracho, Gerson Ajcuc

Detectives of the Criminal Investigation Subdirectorate arrested one of the alleged hitmen who killed the mayor of Chuuracho, Gerson Ajcuc, on February 7, on February 26 at Km 12.5 of the route to the Atlantic, police sources reported.

This is Érick “S”, 41, who was apprehended in the main street of the Miramar neighborhood, Puerto San José, Escuintla, in compliance with an arrest warrant for the crime of murder.

According to the Subdirectorate of Criminal Investigation of the PNC, the detainee is a member of the 18th neighborhood.

The authorities detailed that the suspect was identified by monitoring surveillance chambers and investigation methods used by the Prosecutor’s Office of Crimes against Life and Integrity of the person.

“No criminal act ceases to be investigated. All methodological, technical and scientific actions are carried out in coordination with the Public Ministry, until the alleged perpetrators, ”said the Subdirection of Criminal Investigation of the PNC.

The PNC still investigates the mobile of the armed attack and other people who could be involved as intellectual authors.
