The Israel government expressed its support to Guatemala for the resolution of the Lev Tahor case, in which dozens of children would have been violated by members of the sect, according to Israel’s embassy in Guatemala.

“The Israel Embassy reiterates, given the events of the last weeks related to members of the Lev Tahor sect and the judicial situation in which its members are, their absolute support to the Guatemalan authorities for their professional management of the matter,” says the document.
