The National Civil Police (PNC) reported on Tuesday, March 11, captured Elijah “N”, 45.
The arrest was carried out by researchers in the San Juan del Obispo village, Antigua Guatemala, Sacatepéquez.
According to the PNC, the operation was carried out In follow -up to the death of the son -in -law of the capturedoccurred on Sunday, March 9 in the Third Canton, San Juan Alotenango.
“That night he allegedly killed the victim with shotgun projectile impacts,” said the PNC.
He added that the investigators carried out the corresponding proceedings and that a court in Sacatepéquez ordered the apprehension.
The Public Ministry (MP) indicated that the District Prosecutor’s Office of Sacatepéquez coordinated with the PNC the capture of Elías “N”, syndicated of the crimes of homicide and illegal carrying of firearms for civil and/or sports use.
“He is accused that on Sunday, March 9, he arrived at Edgar Armando Rancho Cojolón, in the municipality of San Juan Altanango, and after an argument he shot him with a shotgun and caused death,” said the MP.
