With this triumph, the blue and white assured its ticket to the 2025 Beach Soccer Cup, which will be held in Seychelles, an unprecedented achievement for the country in this discipline.
The match, played on Bahameño soil, began spectacularly for Guatemala, which took advantage in the first third with goals from Miguel González and Edwin López, establishing a solid 2-0 that excited the entire Chapina fans.
However, in the second period, the premises reacted and managed to match the score, putting the blue and white in trouble.
The duel became intense and any error could define the pass to the World Cup. It was until the third third when the chapines found the formula to impose themselves, scoring the goal that allowed them to seal the historic pass to the final and its World Cup classification.
With this victory, Guatemala not only ensures his presence in the World Cup, but will also play the Grand Final of the Concacaf Premundial against El Salvador, a selection that beat the United States in the other semifinal in penalties.
