The iconic wedding garment, which Melania Trump looked in January 2005 during her link with Donald Trump in Palm Beach, Florida, was designed by John Galliano for the firm Christian Dior, according to international media.
The dress, which became a symbol of that wedding, was presented by the now Squeaky Lady on the cover of the magazine Voguein February 2005.
According to a publication of the Excelsior.com.mx portal, the haute couture piece, for which Melania would have paid $ 100,000, appears on EBAY for 45 thousand dollars, with free shipping.
The garment is sold by a woman who claims to have acquired her directly from Melania Trump to use it at her wedding in 2010, for a value of 70 thousand dollars. The seller ensures that she made some adjustments to the original design, such as a new layer of satin at the bottom, additional embroidery at the top, more fabric in the back and extra braces.
According to the publication, the piece was made with white Duchess satén and hand embroidered with glass accounts, in a process that took approximately 550 hours.
Vogue It details that the dress weighs 27 kilograms, which makes it one of the heaviest garments in the history of haute couture.
