A tremor of magnitude 5.1 shakes southern California near the border with Mexico

An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 shook southern California on Monday, April 14 and felt on the US border. With Mexico, without victims or material damage being reported at the moment.

The telluric movement, of magnitude 5.1, was recorded in San Diego County shortly after 10.08 in the morning, local time, according to the United States Geological Service.

The tremor occurred at a depth of approximately 13 kilometers south of Julián, in the northeast of San Diego.

At least seven replicas were reported immediately after the initial earthquake, which was felt in several counties of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, and reports are given at the border between Mexico and California.

It is still unknown if there are reports of injured or damage. EFE

The earthquake was also felt in the border Mexican city of Tijuana, they reported users on social networks.
