The group of official deputies will meet next week to define the fate of the second donation for the salary increase.

The seed deputies donated to the volunteer firefighters the salary increase corresponding to the month of February, as confirmed by the official deputy, Samuel Pérez and the Department of Social Communication of the Socorro Corps.
The officials announced the donation in a press conference, after the Board of Directors ordered to pay the 160 deputies with the salary increase.
The base salary of the deputies went from Q9 thousand 100 to Q46 thousand 700 per month, without counting additional bonuses that raise the remuneration to each deputy and whose economic benefits are increasing if it is the members of the Board of Directors.
“It was a team that quoted the same firefighters. It was an individual donation of each of the 23 seed deputies, especially since they asked for equipment to control fires, some hoses, some adapters and other things,” said deputy Samuel Pérez.
Pérez indicated that the collaboration they did was coordinated as a block, based on the list of team needs that the Volunteer Fire Department detailed to them.
“The 23 deputies of the bench participated. I don’t remember how much each deputy spent; some more and others less, because it was a team donation and there were no exact amounts,” Pérez said.
The deputies say that the donation of the salary increase due to the remuneration of March is pending, since they have not been able to decide how block to which institution to help, but they hope to realize this destination next week.
“It is summoned for Tuesday of the following week. First per Holy Week and second because having no plenary sessions some district did not travel to the city,” Pérez concluded.
The Volunteer Fire Department has a budget of Q100 million, according to the budget approved for 2025 for the Plenary of Congress.
Average volunteer firefighters earn Q5 thousand 200 per month with 24 -hour work shifts for 24 hours of rest. The deputies win a month from Q61 thousand 300 to Q97 thousand 300, they do not get to work, currently they have three weeks without meeting.
