The Municipal CSD and the Marquense Deportivo opened the date 21 of the tournament Closing 2025 The National League of Guatemala.
Scarlet and the Lions starred in a goalless draw on the Manuel Felipe Carrera stadium court that directly impacts Marquense’s aspirations in the fight not to descend.
The team led by coach Hernán Medford He practically sealed his return ticket to the First Division Not being able to win at Municipal’s house, because it is anchored in the last box in the accumulated table.
However, although the panorama is not encouraging, Marquense’s descent is not yet defined in a mathematical way.
What should happen to confirm Marquense’s descent?
So that it is for officer that the painting of Deportivo Marquense loses the category and returns to the First Division, it is only necessary to wait for the result between Xinabajul Hueheu and Guastatoya, who face this same April 23 at 20.00 at the Los Cuchumatanes de Huehuetenango stadium.
Thus the accumulated table marches after the draw between Marquense and Municipal
- Xinabajul Huehue 41 pts (bran)
- ACHUAPA 40 PTS (SALVADO)
- Guastatoya 39 pts (it is saved with a draw)
- Marquense 36 pts (descend if Guastatoya adds a point on this date)
If Guastatoya comes to lose against Xinabajul, the official decrease will be postponed until the next date, since Guastatoya still losing has a mattress of goals that favors him in the differential, which makes the mission of Marquense even more complicated.
