The General Directorate of Road Protection and Safety (Provial) informs that on Tuesday, May 13, a blockade is recorded at kilometer 157 of the Inter -American Route, in Nahualá, Sololá.
The step is interrupted in both directions of the aforementioned route.
According to local media, the demonstration is related to the territorial conflict with Santa Catarina Ixtahuacán.
Protesters have placed obstacles to prevent vehicle passage. In addition, some sit on the road to manifest.

In the place, long lines of vehicles have formed, and many people have decided to mobilize on foot to reach their destination.
