The departmental municipal firefighters reported that in the Upayón village, Sanarate, El Progreso, an armed attack was recorded on Friday, May 16.
The pilot of a motorcycle taxi died in the place. The incident occurred in a dirt road.

For their part, the volunteer firefighters indicated that a man was gunshot wounded when he moved along Tetuán street, on the route of San Pedro El Panorama towards RN 14, Antigua Guatemala.
The victim had wounds in the thorax and both arms, so she was transferred to a hospital.
