Antigua GFC raised its fifth title Liguero after beating Municipal in the last play of the game, while at the other end of the table, Xinabajul’s descent was confirmed, marking the closure of an unforgettable season.
Old, under the direction of Mauricio Tapia, managed to impose himself in the final with a score of 2-1 against the scarlets, Thanks to the goals of José Ardón and Dewinder Bradley, after going down on the scoreboard. With this victory, the colonial team consecrated itself as the best in the championship and took its fifth avocado, the room with Tapia as strategist.
As for the final table of Clausura 2025, Municipal ended as a leader in the classification phase with 35 pointsfollowed by communications with 33 and former GFC with 32. Marquense, despite having initially descended by accumulated table, managed to stay in the major league after a ruling of the sports arbitration court (tan) that returned three points and condemned Xinabajul to the descent.
