The National Civil Police (PNC) reported that Police Station 74, in coordination with investigators and the immediate reaction group Lobos (GRIL), carried out a high -impact operation in the San Luis Las Carretas, Pastores, Sacatepéquez village.
During the operation, held on Sunday, June 15, the capture of Carmen “N”, 22, aka “La Chiquis” was reported, the PNC added.
The entity added that, according to the solvencies system, the detainee had several arrest warrants for different crimes. The first three were issued in August, September and October 2024 by the Court of First Criminal Instance of Sacatepéquez, for the crimes of extortion and extortion in degree of complicity.
The other four arrest warrants were issued in April and May 2025 by Courts of Guatemala and Chimaltenango, for the crimes of extortion continuously, illegal association, intimidatorial exacts continuously and extortion.
The PNC said: “The Chiquis belongs to the Click Chapina of the Barrio 18 gang, in charge of coordinating the extortion for this criminal group that affects merchants in that municipality.”

He added: “In addition, the mother of today detained was apprehended on May 6 at the Panabaj canton, Sololá, by two extortion capture orders.”
