The National Civil Police (PNC) captured this Friday, April 3, Carlos “N”, accused of trying to sexually abuse a 15-year-old teenager.
The man had been detained by residents who intended to take justice into their own hands.
The events occurred in Puerto San José, Escuintla. A citizen complaint alerted the PNC.
The minor was taken to a local health center for a medical evaluation.
They thwart attack
In the 4 de Febrero neighborhood, zone 7 of the capital, a man intended to shoot several people who were in a pool on the street.
Upon realizing the presence of the PNC, the suspect fled and left a gun at the scene.
The PNC began the search for the man in the sector.
