The Departmental Municipal Firefighters reported that early this Friday, April 17, a minibus transporting a family plunged into a ravine of about 75 meters on the route between Tecpán, Chimaltenango, and Chiché, Quiché.

He added that a family was traveling in the unit that came from Esquipulas, Chiquimula, and was headed to Quiché.
He added that seven injured people have been rescued in the ravine and taken to a hospital.
According to preliminary information, two people died at the scene of the accident. The work of firefighters continues in the area.

The Municipal Firefighters reported a motorcycle accident on Los Próceres Boulevard and 20 Avenue, Zone 10. One person died and another was injured in the accident.
Agents from the National Civil Police and the Municipal Traffic Police are on site to regulate vehicular circulation and protect evidence for the investigation.
