The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (Mintrab) reported that it is investigating an incident related to the Your Employment portal, after a possible hack and the leak of user data were reported on social networks.
According to the institution, engineers from the Information Systems Directorate are analyzing what happened and will adopt measures to guarantee the security of the platform and the information.
Publications on social networks indicated that cybercriminals had extracted more than 200 thousand records and 40 GB of resumes, which would have exposed personal identification documents (DPI), contacts and work and salary history of users.
The Mintrab did not confirm these details, but assured that the investigation is ongoing and that it will report on the progress and actions taken.
