With a double from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, PSG managed to eliminate B. Munich in key 1 of the Champions League. The goals of the match for the local team were scored by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23′ 1T and 10′ 2T), João Neves (32′ 1T) and Ousmane Dembélé (49′ 1T, from a penalty and 12′ 2T). While the away goals were scored by Harry Kane (16′ 1T, penalty), Michael Olise (40′ 1T), Dayot Upamecano (19′ 2T) and Luis Díaz (22′ 2T). A great play by PSG, 23 minutes into the first half, was the one that moved the scoreboard thanks to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. With a cross from Désiré Doué, the forward connected with the ball in the large area and entered the back of the opponent’s goal.

Luis Enrique’s team created danger with a shot by Senny Mayulu, at 86 minutes of the second stage, which ended up hitting one of the posts.

Ousmane Dembélé emerged as the most outstanding player of the match. The PSG forward showed his best level by scoring 2 goals, shooting 5 times into the opponent’s goal and making 13 correct passes.

Désiré Doué also stood out in the Parc des Princes. The PSG attacker shot at the opponent’s goal 3 times and made 20 correct passes.

PSG coach Luis Enrique proposed a 4-3-3 formation with Matvey Safonov in goal; Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho and Nuno Mendes in the defensive line; Warren Zaire Emery, Vitinha and João Neves in the middle; and Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in attack.

For its part, Vincent Kompany’s team took the field with a 4-5-1 formation with Manuel Neuer between the three sticks; Josip Stanisic, Dayot Upamecano, Jonathan Tah and Alphonso Davies in defense; Joshua Kimmich, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala and Luis Díaz in the midfield; and Harry Kane up front.

Referee Sandro Schärer was in charge of supervising the game at the Parc des Princes.

PSG is in an advantageous position to reach the final, while Bayern Munich faces a significant challenge to remain in the competition. On Wednesday, May 6, they will meet again at the Allianz Arena in the second leg.
