Omar Arellano’s Leones closed the regular phase in eighth position with 30 points and receive the leader of the competition, while Xelajú MC arrives with 39 points and the confidence of having been the most consistent team in the tournament, although with the significant loss of its starting goalkeeper Rubén Darío Silva due to a ruptured Achilles tendon.
Xelajú arrives as the great favorite of the series with the advantage of playing all its games as leader of the Clausura.
