date and time of the Clausura 2026 semifinals

The First Division of Guatemalan soccer has everything ready for its Clausura 2026 semifinals. During the First Division League Executive Committee meeting, days, times and venues for the round-trip matches were confirmed, with four teams that arrive at a good soccer moment and with fans that have pushed for each place.

The start of the semifinal phase will be this Saturday, May 2, with the most anticipated duel: Nueva Santa Rosa vs. San Pedro FC at the Pedro García Arredondo Stadium at 8:00 PM.

The key between Nueva Santa Rosa and San Pedro FC is the most attractive in the semifinal phase because of what is at stake. Both teams met in the final of Apertura 2025, where Nueva Santa Rosa came back from 0-2 down to win 4-2 on aggregate and be crowned champion, and now they meet again with direct promotion to the National League as the grand prize. The winner of this series will complete its promotion ticket and will become the first team from these institutions to play in the highest category of Guatemalan soccer.

The other semifinal faces Suchitepéquez and Chichicasteco FC this Sunday, May 3 at 7:00 PM at the Carlos Salazar Hijo Stadium in Mazatenango. Los Masheños arrive supported by their fans at home, while Chichicasteco FC has built its campaign on order and discipline. Unlike the other key, in this series the presence of visiting fans will be allowed with limited spaces of 500 fans in Mazatenango and 150 in Tzocomá, with a cost of Q100 per ticket.
