Donald Trump said on May 6 that if Iran accepts the conditions agreed with the United States to achieve a peace agreement, will end all military operations and will suspend the naval blockade on the Islamic Republic.

In a message on his Truth Social network, Trump stated that he will end Operation “Epic Fury.” if Iran accepts what was agreed with the United States.

“If Iran agrees to comply with what was agreed, which is, perhaps, a big assumption, the now legendary Operation Epic Fury will come to an end, and the highly effective blockade, will allow the Strait of Hormuz to be open to everyone, including Iran,” Trump said.

“If they do not accept, the bombings will begin and will, unfortunately, be of a much higher level and intensity than before“added the president.

According to Axios, Washington is waiting for a response from Iran in the next 48 hours on the agreements established between both countries.

According to White House officials cited by the portal, this is the moment when Both sides have been closer to reaching an agreement since the start of the war launched by the United States and Israel on February 28.

Both sides maintain an indefinite ceasefire to advance negotiations that until now remained stalled.
