Classified files from the US Pentagon were published in a official website of the Department of Defense from that country, where at least 161 documents related to alleged sightings of unidentified flying objects (UFO).
The revealed folders present reports with alleged graphic documentation and testimonies about said sightings, including those of astronauts who participated in missions such as Apollo 11, 12 and 17. They also include testimonies and photographs of alleged cases of unidentified anomalous phenomena (FANI) reported by civilians on the ground.
It was the United States Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, who highlighted that these files “have long fueled justified speculation, and it is time for the American people to see them for themselves.” However, this publication has been criticized by scientists, who point out that files were released without analysis or context, which will only fuel more speculation instead of providing scientific data.
Edgar Castro: “You don’t see anything really spectacular”
In Guatemala, the director of the Institute of Earth Sciences and Astronomy of the Galileo University, Edgar Castro, explained that within the files revealed by the United States on unidentified anomalous phenomena, there are no concrete facts or scientists that demonstrate extraterrestrial visits.
He highlighted that in many of the images “you don’t see anything really spectacular,” but basically gray dots or shapes that cannot be dimensioned well. Likewise, he indicated that these documents lack sufficient scientific value, since there is no data to reach a conclusion.
From a scientific point of view, he explained that they work with data to develop investigations, but he stressed that these data are not being presented to determine these types of facts. For this reason, he insisted that more compelling information is needed, such as samples of alleged extraterrestrial ships or biological bodies.
He added that, for scientists, evidence of extraterrestrial life should include more methodical processes, such as DNA analysis of tissues from alleged biological beings and studies of the contents of alleged ships.
Castro stressed that, if these evaluations were carried out by qualified scientists and their authenticity was verified, then the real existence of extraterrestrial life could be established.
This one is pretty cool!

He added that, from the scientific field, it is considered difficult for intelligent beings to exist in the universe, because the formation of human beings responded to a series of exceptional circumstances.
Finally, he called to avoid speculation on social networks about the revelations spread, since, as he stated, they do not demonstrate any scientific fact.
Sean Kirkpatrick: “It will only fuel more speculation”
Testimonials published by the magazine Scientific American They reflect the position of Sean Kirkpatrick, physicist and former director of the Pentagon’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office, who stated that the disclosure will only fuel speculation instead of providing concrete data.
In his statements, Kirkpatrick stressed that “there is no analysis or context,” so the publication of these files “will only fuel more speculation, create new conspiracy theories and encourage armchair pseudoscience.”
Mick West: “Nothing really interesting”
Another of the pronouncements cited by Scientific American is that of independent researcher and science writer Mick West, who noted that, although the files include videos, “there is nothing really interesting” as they only show “more dots and more parallax.”
Through his social networks, West indicated that the PR38 video seems to be the most visually interesting among the evidence revealed; However, he recalled that “in the Metabunk investigation two years ago it was determined that its shape was an artifact of the camera.”
Although some people could interpret it as a possible UFO, the researcher maintained that it is “diffraction peaks, similar to those of Gimbal, but with a different camera”, aspects that he explained in his website.
In the first tranche of government UFO files, video PR38 looks the most visually interesting, but the shape was determined to be a camera artifact in the Metabunk investigation two years ago. Federica Bianco: “I have not observed phenomena that violate the laws of physics”
CBS News spoke with associate professor of the Department of Astronomy and Physics at the University of Delaware, Federica Bianco, who during her work at NASA, where unidentified anomalous phenomena were studied, claimed to have not observed evidence indicating life or technology from extraterrestrial civilizations.
He stressed that he has not seen records that prove the existence of phenomena that “violate the laws of physics.”
“For all the attention paid to UFOs over the past decade, we still have no evidence that they exist. The public may be more willing to listen to claims about downed spaceships and alien life forms, but we haven’t actually seen any. The murky Pentagon UFO videos have not been…

Neil deGrasse Tyson: “Most people are unaware of optical phenomena”
Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson also told CBS News that these tests only show that many people who observe the sky “are unaware of optical, climatic and astronomical phenomena,” which leads to reports of supposedly mysterious and unidentified objects.
Likewise, he questioned why, if these visits really existed, only the Government would have proof, since large quantities of videos are uploaded to the Internet daily without there being conclusive evidence of extraterrestrial life.
