Cole Allen, the suspect in attempting to assassinate President Donald Trump during a correspondents’ dinner at the White House, He pleaded not guilty on May 11 to the four charges against him.

The four charges Allen faces are one for attempted assassination, which could lead to a life sentence; two related to the use and transportation of firearms, and a fourth for assault on an agent.

The 31-year-old man was arrested on April 26 after bypassing a security check and trying to break in, armed with a shotgun, a pistol and several knives, in the lounge of a Washington hotel where the dinner was being held.
