The Municipal Firefighters reported that on the night of Thursday, May 14, an armed attack was recorded on 5th Avenue and 3rd Street in the Santa Marta neighborhood, zone 5 of Mixco.
They added that paramedics evaluated an injured man who was in a dark Jeep vehicle.
Despite resuscitation efforts, the victim died at the scene due to the severity of the injuries to vital organs. The vehicle had no visible license plates, according to the fire department report.
The Municipal Firefighters of Mixco reported that a 41-year-old man was shot to death in a commercial establishment.
They indicated that the attack occurred in the El Milagro neighborhood, zone 6 of Mixco. Authorities are investigating the motive for the attack.
The Departmental Municipal Firefighters reported that on the route to the village of San Jacinto, Chimaltenango, they located a man dead from multiple gunshot wounds.
The body was on the side of a motorcycle taxi. The attack occurred on a dirt road.
