The authorities of Honduras and Guatemala reported this Friday on new advances in the investigation of the armed attack that left five police officers dead on the border between both countriesin a fact that has caused joint operations and changes within Honduran security forces.

The deceased were identified as Nahum Ventura Rivera and Eduardo Rivera Sabillon. According to Honduran investigations, both were part of a structure linked to drug trafficking that would have participated in the kidnapping and murder of the five police officers.
