In a celebration of the various artistic disciplines, the Miguel Ángel Asturias Cultural Center will be the meeting point for the XXI edition of the June Festivalan event that offers an agenda with film, dance, music, theater and exhibition activities.
With more than 60 activities scheduled, the festival will take place from June 2 to 28. During this period, Guatemalans will be able to attend various presentations, both free and low-cost, with the purpose of promoting exposure to the arts.
The agenda, which brings together Guatemalan artists, includes comedy spaces, exhibitions such as the exhibition of engravings by Miguel Ángel Asturias and tributes to musicians, as well as international presentations such as The unfaithful lovera work that brings together the actors Juan Soler, Alexis Ayala, Mauricio Islas and Claudia Lizaldi.
For the first weekend of activities, the festival will offer plays such as 75 stab wounds and musical performances such as Neon Zone livewhich will occupy various spaces of the Miguel Ángel Asturias Cultural Center.
The event, designed for different generations and artistic tastes, will offer poetry, genre film, music and freestyle activities from Thursday, June 4 to Sunday, June 7.
The exhibition Engravings by Miguel Ángel Asturias It will be available to the public during the festival’s business days, until June 28. To enter, it is necessary to reserve a free ticket through the festival portal.
