FIFA joins forces with the Rolling Stones in a project linked to the 2026 World Cup

The 2026 World Cup will have the participation of Rolling Stones in a special release. FIFA has announced that the agreement includes the presentation of three limited edition 2026 FIFA World Cup vinyl album covers with designs inspired by the English band and a remix of one of their new songs.

The publication is part of FIFA’s ongoing strategic collaboration with Universal Music Group (UMG), which seeks to connect global football with music lovers through FIFA Sound, the statement said.

The deal includes three limited edition vinyl album covers from the FIFA World Cup 2026, created for the next Rolling Stones album, Foreign Tongues (Capitol Records), along with a special remix of the band’s new song,In the Stars, qIt is part of the official album of this year’s World Cup. As if that were not enough, a range of official clothing and caps products, and other proposals for music and football fans, will soon go on sale.

“The FIFA World Cup is the biggest spectacle on the planet, uniting billions of people through football, culture and a common celebration,” said Romy Gai, director of FIFA’s Commercial Division. “We are delighted to welcome the Rolling Stones to this extraordinary occasion and to bring the energy, excitement and unmistakable identity of one of music’s most iconic bands to the competition experience,” he said.

The vinyl album covers, created expressly for the presentation of the new Rolling Stones album, contain designs that fuse symbolic images of the band with elements of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. These limited production editions are designed as collector’s items to commemorate a historic event, in which one of the most famous bands on the planet will become part of the greatest competition in the history of football.
